Types of Asanas Taught In a Yoga Class
Asana is the first step of yoga. After doing asanas, steadiness of body as well as mind is achieved. Also, one becomes free from diseases and the limbs become light. The relaxing group consists of asanas relax a person and are done in a position of rest and ease. The Surya namaskara group of asanas has twelve poses. The pawanmuktasana group of asanas release knots from joints s well as the visceral muscles of the body.
